Proficiency is the next step after you’re trained to recognise the 14 flavours included in the scheme (available to purchase from our online store). As well as the Control sample, the program also features the following flavours:

The Whisky Open Proficiency Program (single round) involves 1 calibration pack shipped following order confirmation. The testing pack will be IN / OUT scheme, which tests the ability to identify defects outside of product quality specification.
Once the tasting is complete, you need to log your results on our Whisky Open Proficiency Program TVS2 platform which you will only have limited access to. Full access will only be granted to annual subscription holders to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and hone skills to track improvement over time. The Whisky Open Proficiency Program engine is mobile friendly and can be accessed anywhere in the world. Certification is only received for the annual subscription program.
